Program Summary:

CNB Bank has been dedicated to the communities in which we serve since our inception in 1934. We’re proud to say that in 2017, we began a new initiative, “CNB Millennial Movement”. This group, led by a team of CNB Millennials, has a mission of uniting CNB employees of all ages while volunteering at various projects in our communities. This group coordinates an event each month and has successfully completed 8 projects to date.

Since our inaugural event at our local VA Hospital on Veteran's Day, we have completed various projects such as wrapping 200 Christmas presents for the local school, decorating Christmas trees at our local senior centers with ornaments made by students, serving dinner at the community’s soup kitchens, holding a food drive for our Back-Pack program, participating in a Habitat for Humanity project, and even learning to sign common banking terms to help us better communicate with our hearing impaired customers. To celebrate the summer weather, our next outing will have us walking dogs at the local Humane Society! We try to vary our projects, but all of them share the same objective: to grow as a positive force and improve our beloved communities.

CNB’s Millennial Movements is truly a volunteer group. With close to 30% of our employees participating in events, it’s humbling to be a part of a group that doesn’t expect anything in return; they simply want to spend some of their free time on a worthy cause.
