Community Bank N.A. has remained committed to a community-focused approach that puts our neighbors and customers first throughout our more than 150-year history. Giving back to our communities is embedded in our culture from executive management and board of directors down to branch team members. Our motto is “Bank Happy,” and it’s our ongoing community involvement that brings that motto to life.

Across our four-state footprint, our administrative departments and 240-plus individual branches follow the passions of their employees and support causes that are near and dear to the heart of their community. Staff often go above and beyond just donations and volunteer their time, as well, on various committees for hundreds of organizations.

Beginning in 2018, Community Bank N.A. began awarding one branch in each of the bank’s seven regions with a Community Commitment Award, chosen based on outstanding philanthropic activity. The seven award recipients were allowed to make a $500 donation to a local organization of their choice. In 2019, we anticipate raising the award to $1,000. These branches are recognized by Community Bank’s CEO at our annual Branch Celebration Event each February.
