Program Name: Community Engagement Program

Program Summary:

Countryside Bank is proud to be a part of the communities we have served for our 40 years. We do this across our Retail Banking segment through our Community Engagement Program.

Through this program, each of our five branches partners with community partners to provide a blend of in-branch and out-of-branch events centered on financial literacy and inclusion. Whether we are hosting a Banking Basics seminar in our lobby or bringing financial guidance to clients in their workplace, Countryside Bank is focused on our motto of “It’s Grow Time” to continue helping our clients grow their financial life.

Some specific examples of ways we bring this program to life are:

— In-Branch Financial Seminars promoted and led by team members
— Onsite Financial Seminars conducted at our Community Partner locations: food pantries, shelters, community centers (LGBT, Filipino) and local libraries
— Having a presence at Community Resource Fairs: community colleges, hospitals and community organizers (LUCHA, Hispanocare)
— Sponsorships to make more community events possible: community centers (LGBT, Filipino) and chambers of commerce (Lakeview, GLBT)

These activities provide an opportunity for team members at all levels of our organization to interact and share our expertise directly with the community, particularly underserved clients who are most in need of banking services.
