At Busey, we’re committed to providing service excellence in everything we do for our 4 Pillars—associates, customers, shareholders and communities. A true community financial services organization, Busey understands the importance of committed volunteers and strong advocates for neighbors in need—and we have helped bridge those needs, giving our time, talents and financial resources, in our communities for nearly 150 years.
Busey established Community Promise Week in April of 2012 to coincide with National Volunteer Week in an effort to make a collective community impact alongside our customers and community members. Two years later, the initiative evolved into a month-long event, where associates give thousands of hours of service each April—in addition to our year-long support—to hundreds of local organizations. By partnering together and participating in community projects to build strong, vibrant neighborhoods—the places we’re proud to call home—Community Promise Month demonstrates the incredible power of strength in numbers.
With dozens of volunteer opportunities in Illinois, Indiana, Missouri and Southwest Florida, Busey associates and community members select an event during Community Promise Month that fuels their passion for helping others. From thousands of hours of volunteerism—15,000+ annually—to participation in our charitable initiatives on social media, Busey delivers on our promise of service excellence in everything we do for our communities.
