Program Summary:

The Empower Series presented by Comerica Bank is a free, monthly financial coaching and counseling workshop series, where a local or national guest speaker shares his/her inspiring personal story of empowerment in addition to covering a financial literacy topic. The workshops are held on the third Saturday of each month at the Dallas Public Library’s Highland Hills Branch, located in the southern sector of the city in a low-to-moderate income area.

The Empower Series strives to positively impact the world by inspiring people to thrive in every area of their life, transforming mindsets and inspiring behavioral change. Our goals are to:

• Facilitate insights within people that resources and knowledge are available to help them realize their desires, dreams and goals.
• Empower the masses to plan and organize for wealth and education within reach;
• Enrich lives by improving the money management decisions and financial literacy of students and adults.
• Help people become better stewards of their resources – ideas, time, relationships and money.
In 2016, more than 550 individuals have attended our monthly programs, while the series has received another 45,000 views on YouTube. Click here to view the latest video.
