Program Summary:

EnerBank USA is an industrial loan bank in Utah that specializes in home improvement loans. The bank promotes serving along the Wasatch Front (Salt Lake Valley) in which most of its 300 employees live --both in reaching out to community groups and encouraging its officers and employees to volunteer. In 2016, employees donated nearly 1,300 hours for various charities and programs.

EnerBank CEO Charlie Knadler is a tremendous advocate. In a recent press release he said, “Community involvement and employee engagement are very important to EnerBank. When employees serve the community through organizations and causes they are passionate about, we know they will be better trained, more productive, and more satisfied in both their professional and personal lives. We find that we receive a lot more through community involvement than we give.”

Employees at all levels of EnerBank serve on boards or committees of numerous organizations.
