Midtown Bank, powered by Citizens Bank of Edmond (CBE), is a cutting-edge unmanned electronic banking facility with advanced technology and equipment developed by Citizens Bank of Edmond to serve deposit needs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Midtown Bank, or as we like to call it #unbank, was inspired by local merchants in the Midtown area and includes equipment able to process transactions typically only available at a traditional teller line. The vision of Midtown was created by our own President and CEO, Jill Castilla, and fueled by her constant ability to provide unprecedented technological innovation in the financial industry. This location has a scheduled grand opening of June 27th at 1 pm, with the ribbon cutting at 1:30. Midtown Electronic Banking Facility houses equipment in order to process the majority of transactions available at a staff location remotely. The use of the facility is only available to CBE customers. In addition, the facility will serve as a hub for events and/or meetings between bank personnel and customers. All transactions will be processed automatically or by an employee remotely at the Main Location or Drive. Essentially, this project was implemented to better address the needs of our existing customers and finding innovative ways to attract new customers. Midtown is an incredible opportunity for expansion, and helps CBE serve their clients more effectively by offering unique services intended specifically for merchants in the area.
