Community Development & Affordable Housing

Through a network of banking partners, ABA Foundation supports community development investments focused on cultivating stronger and more resilient neighborhoods across America. The Foundation's annual Community Development Tour, sponsored by Federal Home Loan Banks, highlights successful projects that stem from partnership between banks of all sizes, non-profit organizations and corporations. Tour participants observe first-hand the ways in which banks help strengthen businesses, transform lives and ultimately help places flourish.

Eleven million renters in the U.S. spend more than half of their household budgets on a place to call home. The Foundation offers online resources, tools and materials to empower banks to help address local housing challenges.
