Community Engagement and Reinvestment Committee

This committee assists bankers in finding constructive ways to encourage and promote sound lending and investments in their communities. It fulfills that mission by providing information to ABA members about housing, community development and small business lending trends and initiatives that work. The committee also educates federal policy makers, banking regulators and the public on banking industry efforts on mortgage and housing reform, small business financing and financial education. The committee also informs them of policy initiatives that will facilitate industry efforts.
