(-)I would say that the ABA internship
is a good mix of workplace culture,
a positive one with professional development.
Everybody at ABA really wants you to succeed,
and they wanna support you,
and they're totally willing to give you feedback
if you solicit it.
So I'd say that was the most valuable part for me.
(-)My favorite part of the ABA internship
was how much I was trusted.
My supervisors gave me a lot more independence
with all of my projects,
while at the same time
they were still checking in with me almost daily.
And at the end of the day,
I knew that I was accountable for my projects,
but I was also given credit for all of my work.
(-)Something I learned this summer is that, you know,
banking is not all finance.
There's a lot more that goes into it,
and I think that kind of understanding
that there's more behind an industry
than just what appears on the surface is really important.
(-)Definitely the power of networking
and utilizing the people around you.
Don't be shy to go and chat
to the person next to you in your cube,
or go and say, "Hey, I have a question about this project."
And really just advocating for yourself.
(-)I 100% percent would recommend ABA as an internship.
It was very, like I said, very inclusive.
Everyone is just ready to help you.
It's very much like the work culture is amazing.
All the teams are very small,
so it's like you feel like you're a part of the family.
For one moment,
I didn't feel like I was excluded from anything.
Everyone was very much like,
"Oh, do you wanna go get lunch?"
"Do you want to go help me with this project?"
"Do you wanna see what I'm doing?"
It was just very amazing in all aspects.
