(-)There is no other banking organization
doing business in the United States
that has anything remotely like The Alliance.
(-)And I always say it's like,
the best thing since slight bread,
'cause you can pull all of the states together
and have a voice at The Hill,
and other really important issues as one.
(-)And we each come willingly to the table,
because it's such tremendous value.
(-)It just allows us to take
what other states are doing well,
and bring that to our bankers,
and to help them grow and succeed.
(-)There's a lot of support
that we're providing to each other.
ABA to the states, state associations to each other.
(-)We come together as a group
with the American Bankers Association
to support a consistency of message,
a unity of message around banking policies,
pro banking policies,
being able to work against bad policies
that we think would be adverse to the industry.
(-)When an issue arises that we wanna engage bankers on,
having that partnership
with the State Association Alliance is absolutely critical,
'cause we are able to move very quickly
to activate them, and activate our bankers when needed.
(-)We come together regularly in meetings,
phone calls twice a month, by Zoom now,
to get educated on on issues that we need to be aware of.
(-)The Zoom calls that we have include members
from all the state associations,
and the subject matter experts from ABA,
and we play off of each other,
and what it does is it helps set the course
in the right direction.
(-)It enables us to work together
to focus on consensus issues, to deliver solutions,
and then to bring that banker a voice in Washington, DC.
(-)Being able to reach every single member of Congress,
every single senator, not just in Washington, DC,
but back home with a banker
that knows that elected official, is priceless.
(-)The ability to come together on a regular basis,
to be aware of what may be coming in store
to our state is very helpful.
(-)This gives us an opportunity to work together
on behalf of the entire industry.
From the smallest bank in the nation,
all the way to the largest banks.
(Banker)Every member of The Alliance
all focus on what's best for our industry,
and all share ideas to help each other become even better.
(-)Well, having people I trust
and can rely on as partners. really makes me more effective
in being a voice in the federal arena.
(-)The Alliance makes me more successful in that
it gives me more depth
of not only what's happening in Michigan,
but what's happening around the country.
(-)Having The Alliance makes it so much easier to do my job.
I would be foolish not to rely on it.
(-)I couldn't be as effective a state association leader
as I am without The Alliance.
