ABA: The American Bankers Association
Skip Section Navigation

ABA Foundation goes to great lengths to support banks and the communities they serve across America. The well-being of bankers, their customers and their communities is paramount β€” and that includes when a disaster strikes.

ABA Foundation is committed to quickly aiding disaster recovery efforts. On behalf of state bankers associations, ABA Foundation solicits donations nationwide and encourages banking industry professionals to help those affected.

How to Request Funding

After a presidentially declared disaster, the ABA Foundation Disaster Relief Program allows state bankers associations to request fundraising donations for their specific state through ABA Foundation.

When a request is submitted, the state bankers association designates a 501(c)(3) organization(s) that provides generalized relief to receive the collected funds. All donations are fully tax-deductible. ABA Foundation does not use disaster relief funds to pay any of the costs to administer this program.
